What3Words - The 100% FREE App That Every Van Lifer NEEDS

Hi everybody, today I thought I would take the time to let you all know about the amazing phone app/website what3words and why you need it...

First of all it is completely FREE to download and use for everybody and always will be and this is because it can be used by emergency services to locate you in remote locations and it is very easy to use so anybody with a smartphone, laptop, tablet, or other online devices can check it out right now for FREE. I'll post website and app links at the bottom of the post

It is basically a very accurate global positioning service that has 3 words for every single map coordinate on earth. So no matter where you are you can let people know your EXACT location.

WHAT WHAT3WORDS BE USED FOR

What3words can be used by anybody to show anybody where they are. This is useful for loads of situations.

Emergency services - For example if you're injured in the middle of a forest in an area you have never visited before if you did not have the this app you would find it pretty hard to explain exactly where you are and they would have to find you by searching a rough location. But as they all use what3words now as standard as it is so accurate (because it works on map coordinates) with this app they will know exactly where you are instantly. What3words works without internet connection so you should always be able to find you location in an emergency. To give you some idea how accurate it is...

If you could't work out what I was trying to show you with these photos, these are three screen shots for the website. They show that the app is so accurate that the exit door and the entrance door on a set of double doors both have a different set of three words. I don't think you can get more accurate than that.

Helping anybody find you - So it's not only used in emergencies you can use this for all sorts of everyday things. For example you are in a big park like Hyde park but you can't explain to your friends exactly where you are having your picnic you can send them 3 words and they can look you up to pretty much a square foot.

Finding where you parked your van or inviting people to your park up - Again if you are in an area you have never visited before and you go for a bit of an adventure you might totally forget where you have parked your van... I've done this it's not as funny at the time. If you take note of the three words before you leave then you will have no problem in finding it. Remember what3words works without internet connection. it is also great if you are parked up in an amazing location and you want to invite somebody to join you... It will lead them straight to your van. Im sure as it gets more popular we will be able to order take aways to our van with it too (hopefully).

WHERE AND WHEN DOES IT WORK

There is a simple answer to this everywhere all the time. As it can work offline without an internet connection it can be used whenever you need it without worry and because it works on map coordinates it works anywhere on the planet. When I say anywhere even in the middle of the ocean each map coordinate has its own three words.

It really is an amazing app with so many awesome uses not to mention the fact that it might save your life one day. It is completely free to use and always will be so be prepared and download it now. It is very easy to use and has full instructions on how to use it on the website and app.
