Tried and tested Chinese Diesel heaters

Buying a Chinese Diesel heater can be a bit of a minefield if you have never purchased one before, there are so many different manufacturers, suppliers and designs it can be hard to know where to start.

The main problems people have when buying these heaters are


Long shipping times

Important bits missing from the box

Buying a 2KW unit but getting a 5KW unit disguised as a 2KW unit

Buying a defective unit


In this post I am going to provide links for tried, tested and therefor trusted units that you should be able to order without any worries. Hopefully you should all get a great unit that will work for years to come.


5KW OR 2KW?

So what you will find when looking for a 2KW heater is that there are a lot of heaters advertised as 2KW but as you probe a little bit deeper you will find that they are actually 2KW-5KW. These are just the 5KW versions but they can be turned down to 2KW.


The 5KW are a lot cheaper and easier to make than the 2KW so this why the majority of heaters that will show up when you type 2KW Chinese diesel heaters will be 5KW. This also means if you are looking for a Diesel heater for £110 that everybody keeps talking about you will need to get yourself a 5KW heater (remember these can be turned down to 2KW)

Every one of these units that I have fitted have come with everything that it's meant to come with if not more and worked perfectly from the box. They do come from a Chinese seller with a Chinese address but they have a warehouse in the UK and mine arrived in 3 days

For those of you short on space that don't mind a smaller fuel tank or for anybody wanting to do as little DIY as possible this heater is a good choice. It is the same brand as the heater above and the same quality it's just all wrapped up in a neat and tidy package for you. The Fuel tank, pump, and lines are already attached and so is the controller. All you need to do is fit the air in take and exhaust and then hook it up to your battery.

For those of you that are looking for a genuine 2KW Diesel Heater then this one here is really good. I fitted this exact model in my astra work van and it works perfectly.

If for some reason you don't trust the cheap Chinese heaters and would like to go for the originals then these are the best heaters to go for.
